A bit about me.
I'm a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Glasgow, on track for First-Class Honours. I work across the full stack and reach for whichever tools fit the problem, and I've shipped production systems in domains ranging from industrial robotics, real time multiplayer gaming and most recently applied AI research.
Outside of code I hold a CAA approved drone licence, I'm training for my private pilot licence, and I freelance 3D modelling and printing. I like building things that work, whether they live on a screen or in your hands.

LLM Unit Test Generation Harness
A research pipeline that generates, repairs, and benchmarks LLM-written unit tests on real-world repositories.
Games Night
A mobile-first party gaming platform that lets groups play multiple social and card games together in the same room.

The site you're looking at. Built with Next.js, shadcn/ui, GSAP, Lenis, and a custom WebGL shader to make the portfolio itself feel like a project worth showing.
UR16e Robot HMI – Boeing
A proprietary human-machine interface for a collaborative robot, designed to make advanced workflows usable for less experienced operators.
Grafana Robot Monitoring Panels
Custom Grafana panels for live 3D robot visualisation and telemetry monitoring in an industrial environment.

An event operations platform with real-time status updates across three connected web applications.

A full-stack clock-in and holiday management system that replaced paper processes with a digital workflow.

04 — Experience
Where I've been.
June 2025 – Sept 2025
Manufacturing R&D Intern @ Boeing, Aerospace Innovation Centre
- +Solo-developed a proprietary HMI in Python (PyQt6) for a UR16e collaborative robot over TCP sockets, enabling less experienced operators to run and demo AIC technologies. Product now under review for commercial licensing.
- +Built custom Grafana dashboard panels in React and TypeScript using URDF models and Three.js for real-time 3D robot visualisation on the shop floor.
- +Designed a database agnostic telemetry pipeline feeding robot metrics into InfluxDB/Flux, architected for future Industry 4.0 integration.
- +Configured and deployed a private on-premises GitLab server for secure version control and trained staff on Git workflows.
- +Collaborated on a computer vision driven automation system that identified wing ribs, matched them to assembly flags, and used a UR16e to attach them, replacing a manual assembly step.
Sept 2024 – June 2025
Software Developer & Technical Lead @ Repair Cafe Glasgow
- +Led a development team building an event operations platform, overseeing workload distribution, client presentations, task delegation, and mentoring.
- +Developed three React web applications connected to a single Django backend with PostgreSQL, providing staff with real-time status updates via a socket-based architecture.
March 2022 – Present
Customer Service & Retail Cashier @ Slater Menswear
- +Handle cash-desk operations, assist with training new employees, and troubleshoot IT issues across departments.
- +Built a full-stack clock-in and holiday management system (Django, React, PyQt6, PostgreSQL) that replaced paper sign-in sheets, saving approximately 13 hours per week for the store manager and head cashier.
